About Temple
This temple is one of the Shakti Peethas, dated pre-Vedic times. There is no idol of the deity, but a gold plated Shakri Visa Shree Yantra is worshipped as the Goddess. The original temple is on top of the Gabbar hill. A large number of devotees throng during Poornima and the Navratras. Devotees walk down to the temple for Darshan and fulfilling of their wishes and pay respects to the goddess.

The Legend has that this is the place where the Heart of Goddess Sati a manifestation of Parvati had fallen here. After performing Daksha Yagna and Sati’s self-immolation, Lord Shiva carried her body. The Shakti Peethas were believed to be have formed when the body parts fell in different parts. There are 51 Shakti peethas out of which 12 are considered main.

Benefit the Locals
Tathastulive is a facilitator ensuring quality product and process are followed to bring God's blessings to your homes. We make sure that all our prasads are offered to God of the temples before delivering them.

It is our endeavour to support the temple vendors and the temples themselves whereever possible by creating e-commerce opportunities for them to make up for the losses and earn additional income during these testing times. We believe the vendors are directly or indirectly associated with the temples and thus benefitting the local shrines.

Your buying the prasad from us is also benefitting the local economy and we hope it remains that way for a long time to come.
